...whether they are Japanese or not. What kinds of music do you like ?

Personnally I listen to a lot of J-pop, but a little less than I used to a few years ago. I don't really like J-rock, as strange as it may seem. But there are a few exceptions, a few J-rock songs I like, I like B'z too and I think it sounds a bit similar to TMR.

In J-pop I really like EXILE and all the groups like them, a few Johnny's groups like V6 (because they are funny), JAM Project, some Ayu, globe, The Gospellers, MISIA, Mika Nakashima... In other genres of music, say "Western" music, I like... well mostly pop too, R&B also. But there are a lot of different kinds of music I like I can't pick one in particular. It's more a matter of melody.

generally i don't like pop, i'm part of that group of people that listen to both t.m.revolution and dir en grey XD
i'm mostly on asian music now even if i used to listen to western and local music
i was a marilyn manson fan in middle school, but i really dislike the new album. same for him and placebo.
buvertigo was the only italian group that i liked, they were electronic/sperimental i think, but they disbanded

i guess the genre i like more is rock/metal
i also listen to some visual kei bands, i went to moi dix mois concert last month (everyone was excited cause mana in italy is really a rarity)
but are to many to list
sometimes i listen to some korean and chinese music
my favourite korean singer is moon hee jun

Well, I've noticed that a lot of people who like T.M.R. also like visual kei. I was surprised at first because personally, I don't really like these groups and I'm a very pop, R&B, dance person. But it's logical since Takanori used to be a visual kei singer and he still sings like a "rock" singer, espacially during lives. That's why he's so special Cool

I listen to quite a few others.

alice nine.
Aqua Timez
Chemistry
Endlicheri*Endlicheri
Ellegarden
Franz Ferdinand (English)
Fukuyama Masaharu
GReeeeN
Hirai Ken
Jack's Mannequin (English/Genius!!)
Kanjani 8
KinKi Kids
Maroon 5 (English/but their 2nd album was disappointing!)
Nakashima Mika
ONE OK ROCK
Remioromen
Wang Lee Hom (Chinese/English/Japanese/was in Moonchild with Gackt)
YUI

And of course other random artists.

I personally too, do not like Visual-kei because no offence, they all sound the same. The only so-called VK band that I like is alice nine. But they are not as VK as they used to be, that's why I like them! Finally, a different sounding VK/j-rock band!

Good tastes Cool Mostly soft rock. I know most of them (not all) but there are quite a few that I like too Smile I used to be a big fan of Chemistry but I find that their style has changed...

I didn't talk about the Western artists I like, recently I listen to MIKA, Peter Cincotti, James Morrisson, that kind of style. For some odd reason, I also like the songs from High School Musical Laughing

In my story I need to go way back, around 6 years. Before I started to listen Japanese music I was a hardcore Rammstein fan actually. Rammstein and OOMPH! as well. I was joined on a Rammstein forum and a girl from America shows me pictures of Dir en grey and L'Arc~en~Ciel. At first I wasn't really intrested cause they looked.. well, weird. XD But then later that girl gave me a promo clip of Dir en grey's THE FINAL. It was just 50 seconds but well enough to convince me to never listen to western music again. 6 years has passed and I've listened to only Japanese music.

TMR is obviously my biggest idol and favourite but right after him my second biggest favourite is Kagrra,. I love their traditional sounds and their unwillingness to let go of their roots.
Some other pop artists I like nowadays because before I didn't really like the genre, are Aya Matsuura, Ai Otsuka, mihimaru GT and KAT-TUN.
And from the rock-ish section GLAY, kannivalism, SID... MUCC, girugamesh. there's plenty really. I even used to listen Dir en grey and D'espairs Ray regularly and others of those sort but they have really been left out a little.

i've become really picky after i started listening to j-music anyway. i find most western vocals to not sound as good as japanese ones. japanese vocals are softer. so i would rather listen to KAT-TUN then for example... n'sync o_o or what they're called. lol KAT-TUN looks better too xP
